I don't bother myself to comment on the IAEA's sharply worded report against Iran. I don't want to admit that I was too stupid to think that USA might accept Iran's offer to return the dossier to the atomic agency. I can't blame Iranian officials openly for their noncompliance with IAEA.I wish they were wise enough to back off from this nuclear program before letting things go more on edge between Iran and the international community.
Apparently the America's recent rhetoric against Iran brings to minds the same run- ups to Iraq war.
In a speech in Chicago on April 19, Rice said: "The right to self-defense does not necessarily require a UN Security Council resolution," she said. "We are prepared to use measures at our disposal - political, economic or others - to persuade Iran."
Condi, what're you defending yourself from? Is this just like the old scenario of Iraq? Some none-existed WMD's that you never found?
Anyway, Bush your hands are bloody but you don't see that and one day you will have terrible nightmares, just like every warmonger who ever ruled on this planet.
It really looks like Iran is playing the bad kid who needs some real kick in the ass.
Q: Who plays the big daddy?
A: US of A

If you can view this, you really should. Somebody told Bush the truth to his face, and I'm kind of scared wondering what the fallout will be...nobody is laughing, just staring in shock...
And the news is not covering it, except for a few places that say "well, it wasn't funny."
Like the point is to be funny! Whatever.

It's early days for a world run on nuclear energy. Electricity from a nuclear generator was first produced in 1951. That's only 55 years old against a backdrop of a few thousand years of recorded history. It's not perfect technology yet (getting rid of waste material is still expensive, apparently) but it will improve with time. 80% of the French energy market can't be wrong. Every country has a right to this awesome knowledge, including Iran. Some Iranians I've spoken to say that it's a waste of money. That's not for me to judge, but I am happy to live in a country with such technology, especially in a world where generating energy as become so important.
I must admit, growing up and living in the UK, under the umbrella of our own nuclear weapons for so long, it is a litle scary to see other countries develop them. But realistically, can we really expect the current world order to just continue for the rest of time? With only a few select nations of the world possessing these weapons? It's just not realistic. They were bound to spread sooner or later, whether in 2 years or 200 years. Shitty way to use this tech, but humans are fucked up bunch of machismo-loving morons, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Anyway fuck the Bush Administration. They really have lost the plot and with trouble at home and trouble abroad, they should be careful about when and where they run their mouths off. Trade deficits with China, high oil prices, a new leftist co-allition in latin america, iraq horror movie, latino immigrant unrest blah blah blah.....but hey, at least the president is against gay marriage and abortion, the REAL election issues, right guys? Bwahahahahah.....
ok ok..man ke taslim:))
In Iran we say Atomic Energy;
In the world they translate it as Atomic Bomb!!
Guess hearing aid is in need...
with Iran supporting Hezballa and Hamas, daily killing and imprisioning Iranian people and journalists, it's ok with you that they have nuclear bombs?
and somehow this is all Bush's fault?
it's Iranians who chant Death to America, it's the Iranian President who threatened America and Israel.
Bush is going about things diplomatically, through the UN.
Iran started this crap, can you guess who will finish it, if the mullahs don't stop this nonsense?
Sof!a,lol..yes you're right LOL..yea
Anthrophile:Thanks for the link,I'll check it.I thought in USA everyone can say the truth loudly..freedom of speech in the other words,do americans have the same problems with freedom of speech as we have over here!???
Rasko,I do agree with you..very true and I wish we could remove all warfares from this planet so maybe we could live happily everafter! You're right, same here politicians like our prez and Bush are just populists.how we people are fooled with few words?!
Dec,LOL what was that all about?!
Dr.O2,very true indeed.Misinterpretations always worsen the situation.
Anonymous,Don't tell me USA supporting Taliban against Russia makes USA a terrorism supporter?how do you justify USA supporting Taliban who suppressed its nation for mere 10 yrs?(Yea old story of cold war eh?)
Bush even didn't get to UN due to war on Iraq?did he?In case of Iran ,he figured out he made a mistake..I don't defend anyside.I just reflect my worries as a ordinary citizen.Maybe you're just living so carefree in your ivory tower?!!Come down to Iran dude.Sanctions will ruin our lives.According to what I read USA backed more than 30 coups against democratic elected goverments in the last 40 yrs.One happend in Iran on 1953.
The anonymous friend above stated:
"and somehow this is all Bush's fault?"
Nope, no blame lies at the feet of Mr. Bush. He is just a front for the agenda set out during his father's time in the White House, which was itself the sequel to the Reagan years. Ronald Reagan. An actor who became president. An actor.
"it's Iranians who chant Death to America, it's the Iranian President who threatened America and Israel."
Threats are one thing, actions are another. US actions since World War 2 have killed a ludicrous number of people, from expansion of the Vietnam War to Cambodia (facilitating the rise of the Khmer Rouge), to turning a blind eye to Indonesia's rape and pillage in East Timor, from propping up malevolent right wing Latin American governments, to deflating the colonial joke of a state that is (was) Iraq.
"Iran started this crap, can you guess who will finish it, if the mullahs don't stop this nonsense?"
Finish? Even if the US deployed nuclear weaponry to take out Iran's alleged nuclear capability, you think that it would be finished? That the members of Iran's governmental elite would sit down, hold hands and cry, while they had parties and drank champagne in the White House? That Iraq's Shi'ite community would just kick back and shake their heads at "those wacky Americans" and their Superman military technology? That the already hostile Islamic world would simply cower into subservience?
Throughout the world, not just in the US, there are scores of people who simply refuse to be taught. Present them with all the facts and realities in the world, they will only hear what they want to hear.
Freedom of speech? Well, they won't kill him or anything. :-) But back in the day when someone showed up Kennedy, all the clubs where that comedian played were soon shut down, if I'm not mistaken.
Who knows what's going to happen. It's not the same country it used to be.
(What seems to be happening is a conspiracy to ignore. So I want to spread it!)
I don't want there to be "Death to America".
Iran want's peace and yet a country rich in oil is building a nuclear bomb, under the guise of nuclear energy.
and from what I can see, the Iranian people are proud of this!
any idea how many nuclear bombs the US has? Any idea how many nuclear bombs Europe has?
so Iran will have ONE.
fools. I should expect mush from people who've been happily ruled by the mullahs for that last 25 years.
It comes as no surprise that our Bush supporter here signs his or her name anonymous. Spooky witch, we do have free speech in the USA but you have to work to find the truth. Mainstream media is controlled by corporations and they only print or show what they want people to know so you have find out your information from the internet or alternative sources. And most Americans are too lazy to do that. We are too anesthetized by our rabid consumerism to pay attention to our foreign policy.
AnonymousII:Thanks for mentioning things I was trying so hard to put into words. But I also have to point out many people's concerns don't go further than many primary needs specially in third world country's.So to them healthy food and water seems more essential than democracy.Good Luck
Anthrophile:if it happened in somewhere like here probably that guy wouldn't be seen again!!!
Brando:Don't you think you have to get more information from Iran, from other sources else than Fox news?!!Good Luck
AnonymousIII:Thanks for your insight on my blog. How come you can say Iranian people are happy about this situation?I myself don't want to live in a second Iraq.I hope you get to know more about realities of world's current situation specialy Iran.
Laura W,thanks for your insight on my blog. You seem to be right about people commenting anonymously but I think people do it because they're not sure of what they say or they feel unsecured .In both cases I give liberty to them to do as they wish.I also thank you for giving me a picture of freedom of speech in there but I am sure things are much more betetr than here .Good Luck.
let's just hope things don't lead to war.
Dear O2,hoping is the only thing we can do...
"Throughout the world, not just in the US, there are scores of people who simply refuse to be taught. Present them with all the facts and realities in the world, they will only hear what they want to hear."
This, sadly, is an all-too-widespread truth.
Spooky...appropriate.
I hope Ahmadinejad
doesn't get your country turned into a huge sheet of Persian glass with his foolish mouth.
Why do your people put up with such a clown?
We have Bush but we’ll be rid of him in 2008.
Ghost Dog,the validity of truth depends on what we measure and justify good and bad..People rather accept what is easier for them to understand. Thanks for reading my blog.Holler back soon as you folks say over there!
Talon,I wish Iran's problems could be solved with just finishing one presidential term and begining the next..
Thanks for reading my blog and hope you come back here again.Good luck
